About Me
Hello! My name is Meredith Kinsel-Ziter (she/her). I grew up partly in Kentucky and partly in southern Ohio. Though I lived in Ohio for some time, Kentucky has always felt more like home to me. I love what cities have to offer, but I'm a country girl at heart. I have a wonderful husband and three amazing daughters ranging in age from 13 to 25. In my downtime, I love to read, listen to history podcasts, spend time with friends and family, and play outside. Living in Vermont (right on a huge lake), summers are glorious and winter provides tons of opportunities for outdoor fun.

I graduated from Kettering in 1999 in the sonography program. In my former career in sonography, I spent most of my time working in fetal cardiac clinical and research labs at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. In 2010, I moved to Vermont with my family and left that career to get a certification in holistic nutrition. Since then, I started my own wellness coaching practice, began teaching for a nutritional therapy certificate program, and worked in curriculum development. I am here now because I’m ready to move into the next iteration of my career, focusing more on health and wellness education. I have a big dream to create a degree program and get involved in policy-making to help professionalize health and wellness coaches.
